The first teaser trailer to 2012 is up, Its the latest film from director Roland Emmerich about the End Of The World.

Plot Summary: Never before has a date in history been so significant to so many cultures, so many religions, scientists, and governments. "2012" is an epic adventure about a global cataclysm that brings an end to the world and tells of the heroic struggle of the survivors.

It looks good on a technical standpoint but John Cusack makes me wonder.

Am I the only one tired of seeing national landmarks destroyed in movies? It's been done before. It's no longer some cool or shocking thing.

Wow, that looks horrible. I was intrigued a few months back when I saw Watchmen, they played the first trailer upside down and backwards with backwards audio. I'm not sure if it was on purpose or a mistake, but it made things really trippy. After seeing that though, wow, just really fucking bad. Looks like Day After Tomorrow with even worse acting.

I think the movie looks fun, Who goes to a Roland Emmerich movie for the acting when its all about the Destruction?
