Yosuke Hayashi, director of the first Ninja Gaiden Σ, will once again take the reins for this Sigma remake sequel. As with Ninja Gaiden Σ, NG Σ 2 is a remake of an Itagaki designed game.

I haven't gotten Ninja Gaiden Σ yet, so I can't compare it up. Anyone care to elaborate on it's merits? I did just get Ninja Gaiden II.

I think it (PS3's Sigma) is the same as Ninja Gaiden Black for the original XBox. Sigma is a beautiful and "fun" game, but it will have you swearing and talking to yourself...a lot. You should at least rent it, but it may piss you off so much that you wouldn't want to buy it.

I don't think any game can be considered a console exclusive...this is a prime example

I wish regular NG2 had co-op. Would've made the game way more fun.

A legendary Xbox title which unfortunately all next gen incarnations have failed to live up to.

A less violent Ninja Gaiden?
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 tones down the blood and gore
Quote:
|
"Each game has its own concept and with Ninja Gaiden 2, the focus was on extreme violence. But with Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, we really questioned whether violence is a necessity for a game, so we decided to move away from that trend. So the violence 'approach' is not the way we approached the development of Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. Being able to unlock higher levels of gore would be out of kilter with the concept of the game."

So, "Friendship" moves?...ala Mortal Kombat? Babe-talities?
