Default Fuck You Ubisoft (POP: WW)

WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS BULLSHIT!!!!!!!

Ubisoft has raped one of my favorite games of all time by fucking up everything that was great about it.

I am not even through the first level, but already the violence, sexuality, and cheesy acting is through the roof.

It was the charm of POP: The Sands of Time that made it so great along with smooth gameplay. Both of those have been shat on. The new "mature" world kills all the charm the series had and this new combat system is no where near as fluent as "TSOT".

Fuck you Ubisoft. You fucked over one of the best things you had. I'm still going to play and hope atleast the combat and puzzles are more fulid, but all in all this never should have been done to the POP name.

(As you can see I am highly disgruntled. Please excuse the overuse of profanity)

Well I wrote this just seconds after turning off my XBOX in dissapointment. So the anger was still really fresh in my mind.

Just the way it came out at that point and time.

im not sure i understand, does the game suck, or did they just dress it up with the sex and violence and you're against that?

This is mearly a VERY dissapointed first impression of the game.

So far I'm not liking it at all. I mean they killed all the charm 'Sands of Time' had and relaced it with violence and sex.

Violence and sex rock. I love violence and sex, but not in this series. Lets have GTA keep the violence and sex, and keep POP witty and light hearted.

To sum it up I feel that Ubisoft has let me down. I had high hopes for this game, but now it looks like it will just be another 2004 dissapointment.

Well, it's not an entirely bad game, but it isn't as good as the first PoP.

The story isn't exactly presented as well as the first. Most of the time, you're just running around the same area(in different time periods) from the Dahaka while having the casual conversation with some pissed off chick.

In the first, the character knew as much as you did. You had a partner most of the time whom you grew to love, with the "I saw this coming, but I really didn't expect it" plot twists.

But the fighting is definately better in the sequel, I have to give it that.

I think gk said at least one valid thing, and that's about "charm", I have to agree the "charm" of the Prince of Persia-- what makes Prince of Persia..Prince of Persia...and not Ninja Gaiden-- was lost in this most recent version.

Don't blame them one bit...

Look at how much praise both Sands Of Time and Beyond Good And Evil received, then look at how crappy both of those games sold. Warrior Within has already sold double what SoT did. Ubisoft did what they had to do in order to make the franchise successful.

Broadway did the same thing...his name is P Diddy and he was in Raisen in the Sun.
