Arrested Development is one of the funniest shows on TV now, David Cross is hilarious. While it flirted with cancellation at the end of last season I am glad to see it getting some respect from critics albeit from the Emmy's where it will lose out to something like Will and Grace.

AD didn't get nominated for enough Emmys, they are totally biased towards HBO and it shows.

AD deserves TONS of nominations! Each show is packed with so many jokes that you can easily miss quite a few; it's one of the few shows on TV that almost demands repeat viewing. I hope they bring out a DVD Season 1 set so people catch catch up. I'd buy it.

I don't think that Fox quote is entirely true. While I'm sure they love the show, who wouldn't, it wasn't getting the ratings they wanted and as I remember, seeing the main character on the Daily Show begging people to watch the final episode so that Fox wouldn't cancel it like other shows before its time. |

Kingdom Hospital got nominated for 2 Emmy's!! ^_^ Wewt!! *dances around*
Good luck for arrested development... I really didn't find it all that good though, but that's just me.

How awesome was it to see it get rewarded at the Emmys. I don't think anyone was thinking it would actually win the best comedy, that is so cool. I'm also really glad that the writing staff got recognized. And like Mike Hurtwitz said lets watch it.

You got that right! Probably the smartest comedy on TV right now (as a writer, I am jealous of the writers of this show!), besides Scrubs. I love Arrested Development and will be picking up the DVD set, because so much happens in this show that repeated viewings is a must. |
