Insert Coin-Op

The years of 1998-2008 are a blur with the internet evolving out of the ashes of the dot com collapse. Going from Internet to TV and back to the Internet was a surreal experience. It was eye opening, educational, and absolute proof that the corporate television structure is fundamentally flawed with global wireless expansion. What is a TV network but a linear collection of content. The TV network is dead, content is king and live events will be the only way those bloated networks will generate the eyeballs of yesteryear.

This interview with Coin-Op Rob from 2008 provides a little context to the journey from All Games Network/Pseudo to G4TV and beyond. We had been doing our live show from the Arena Interactive Lounge in West LA. Rob was a guest on the show and always seemed to provide us with awkward good content.
